About The Flaming Rocks
TFR were founded in 2003 in Leipzig | Germany. Since then they played a wide range of shows in various clubs and alongside bands like Volbeat (DEN), The Meteors (UK), The Bones (SWE) or the Rock'n'Ink Tattoo Festival. Their first EP "Escape" was released in 2004, followed by their debut album "Your Gun" (PATAM records, 2007). "Your Gun" catches all facets of the quartet. They can't be pigeonholed: THE FLAMING ROCKS sound only and always like THE FLAMING ROCKS. To promote their CD "Your Gun" THE FLAMING ROCKS toured Germany, Austria and Switzerland. THE FLAMING ROCKS were the winner of ROCK RADIO MANCHESTER song contest "Future Classics". They won the voting with a never before seen result of 96% and with their song "As I lay dying" were played on Rock Radio Manchester's "A List" receiving the same level of air play as AC/DC and Metallica. A new album is in the works as well as a tour through the United Kingdom and plans are underway to also tour the rest of Europe. TFR are a terrific LIVE BAND with a dedicated following. Their shows are packed with catchy songs, excellent musicianship and an astonishingly high energy level that will blow you away.
