The Final Session

To document the final recording session at Fat Tracks studio which is housed in the original Buck Owens studio in the River Theater in Bakersfield, California. There is much karmic energy in the old River Theater which has helped to create some of the most beloved music of our modern times. On April 27, 2008 the final full recording session took place at the Fat Tracks studio. It was a very special time shared by a small group of people whom had found their way to the old studio. The legacy of the old Fat Tracks studio and of the studio that Buck Owens originally built will someday be looked upon in the same way that Sun Records is looked at today. To miss this one time opportunity to capture the memories while the studio was still connected to its rich history would truly have been a tragedy.
