About Me:
Hailey is a member and strong supporter of The Cowboy Church of Collin County Band, Southwest Celtic Music Association (SCMA), O'Flaherty's Irish Music camps and Retreats, as well Shandon-O'Regan Irish Dance Academy.
Hailey (12) began violin at 8 with Suzuki, incorporating classical training afterward to compliment early training. Celtic and Country fiddling are now Hailey's primary interest. After attending her first O'Flaherty Irish Music instruction and receiving superb instruction from renowned artist Liz Carroll, Brian Conway, Randal Bays & Kevin Burke, to name a few, Hailey is also a select member of Trinity Hall Session Players at Trinity Hall Pub and Restaurant, in Dallas, Texas.
Besides playing a variety of Celtic music, Hailey also performs Contra, Folk, Bluegrass, Cajun, Appalachian, Gospel, Country/Western, Swing and Rag Time music and now is composing her own original tunes.
Hailey has played with various artists in the DFW Metroplex, Balls, and Festivals: Has been invited back to North Texas Irish Festival 2012, with new band Reelin" Texas Scottish Festival 2011, with Joseph Carmichael, Albert Alfonso and special guest appearance, Kendall Rodgers. She also performed with Brian McNeill and many other fine musicians. North Texas Irish Festival 2011 with Don Gabberts. Celtic Night at the Allen Library with The Irish Rogues and Kelticdead as a tribute to The Irish Rogues' 30 years of performing. Heights Baptist Church: Opened for Grammy & Five time, Dove Award winning, Cynthia Clawson & 900 Choir members around the Southern Region.
Hailey is a former member of a Celtic band called The Hooligans and performed at: City Arts Festival Dallas Heritage Village Central Market Lake Kiowa 4th of July Celebration Molly Maguires
Hailey, as Irish step dancer and fiddler, competes currently in Southern US Region and dances annually for: North Texas Irish Festival, Scarborough Faire & Public Schools. Hailey danced and provided an ensemble of live music for fellow dancers, which included her "fiddledance". ***Hailey was invited back to dance solo and with two championship dancers for the 2011 O'Flaherty Irish Music Retreat, "A Taste Of Ireland Concert". Hailey danced while world renowned Irish music artist and instructors played in concert: Liz Carroll, John Doyle, Damien Connolly, Dave Cory, Kevin Crawford, Jimmy Crowley, Rose Conway Flanagan, Martin Hayes, Louise Mulcahy, Michelle Mulcahy & Robbie O' Connell, Jeff Moore and Albert Alfonso.
2010 She danced for: Michael Black, Kevin Burke, Tom Creegan, Grainne Hamble, Oisin Mac Diaramda, Darren Maloney, Sean McElwain, John McEvoy, John Nolan, and John Wynne. Hailey's musical influences include, but not limited to Liz Carroll, Celtic Spring, Leahy, Eileen Ivers, Amanda Shaw, Quebe Sisters, Bob Wills, Asleep At The Wheel & Jason Roberts.
