One more thing... I just noticed that the previous owner of your guitar swapped out the Full Shred, which you already knew. I wonder why they did that. If I were experiment with another pickup combo, it would be a matched set of standard spaced custom ordered Duncan PATB-1b and PATB-1n pickups....

Did you roll the tone knob all the way down on that guitar to help with the tuning or something? The guitar sounds so dull.

I agree with everything you said, but I also think a second, unmuted output jack wouldn't hur and would be easy for the manufacturer to include. It's good for home playing. My old Korg DT-10 had this option. Not essential, though, I agree.

This mod would be really useful for the EHX Freeze pedal, also. I hate the "Clicking" pedal that is used for that effect. An unlatching switch would allow for more accurate results. Do you think this type of mod could be worked into that pedal?

I think the Jaguar HH says "crafted in Japan" ...and the Black Top Jaguar is made in Mexico.
