Although never accurately reported in the media, on May 21, at a White House press briefing, leading members of the Washington press corps rebelled, demanding to know *why* BP had to be in control of the disaster response, i.e. the criminal in charge of the crime scene. Press secretary Robert Gibbs tried -- and failed -- to silence them by claiming that Federal law required the president put BP in charge. In his comments, Jared Israel a) proves that this claim, which was also made by Thad Allen and by Obama himself, is a lie and b) shows how key government websites are used to funnel people with information or problems related to BP's oil disaster into the hands of BP.

As Iran's nightmare rulers continue to beat, 'arrest' (i.e., kidnap), torture and murder the truly heroic participants in Iran's Democratic Revolution, the Western leaders who bombed Yugoslavia over phony stories of imaginary Serbian terror do nothing about the all-to-real Iranian clerical Fascist terror, with Obama-Clinton leading the pack by begging Ahmadinejad to meet with them, thus effectively puffing up this swaggering Mussolini-remake.
