THE DEN FILM DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

I am writing the screenplay, The Den, as a contribution to the International Peace Movement In Africa. It is totally fictional. Though I have researched massively to create characters that are authentic, issues that are prevalent and left room enough for imagination.

I am in the process of writing the script. When I teach screenwriting I encourage my students to interview their characters for depth, detail, voice and authenticity. It's the Author's Story, but the character's journey. I have specific questions I asked each of the characters in The Den. The questions are specifically worded and queried in a specific order. And I took it one step further. I casted The Den and filmed the actors delivering their interviews, which really, really upped the ante in what will be required of me to write the script.

I need your participation. I need you to view and comment on each of question collections. Each collection will include 11 characters responding that question. The point in time when and where each character is interviewed is deliberately not specified. It's more consciousness to consciousness.

There will be eleven questions: What was your mission? Where are you from? Tell me about your family. Tell me about your love life. How were you captured? Tell me about -some random item e.g. tree. What is your world view? What do you want to happen on your journey - in the plot? Tell me a secret about you I don't know. Tell me about the After Life.

I intend to be the Filmmaker of The Den. So, I am also looking for vested interest. Please join me in the development of this important film, from script to screen. THE DEN.
