The coming together of Acoustic Guitarist/Vocalist Pierre Hopkins and Bass Guitarist/Vocalist Bessie Sayce has created one of the most exciting, innovative, powerful and rewarding performances to be experienced in a long time. The appreciation they both hold for the hard work given by previous generations of outstanding musicians has enabled themselves, with their rich understanding and love of real music and lyrics, to carry the baton forward to all those seeking a new genuine music scene. The devotion and depth in which they create the musical scores and lyrics within their songs, once performed, seem timeless. Pierre and Bessie are based in Deal in Kent (hence their name). Pierre and Bessie have only been performing live together for less than a year. However, in such a short time they have received overwhelming proclaim. The repeated response from those that have experienced a performance from The Dealers is that a part of the future in music has been witnessed.
