I appeared on seasons 3 and 4 of HBO's Def Poetry where I received several standing ovations for my poems Wife, Woman, Friend I and II. I also shared the stage with artists such as Kanye West, Mos Def, Common, and Wyclef Jean. My performance at Kansas City's well-renowned Blue Room was a sold-out show.
