About The Blue Cabin

As they come available, videos will be added giving some flavour of life on the island of Islandmore, Strangford Lough, Northern Ireland.

We live in a wooden cabin on the island with Rab, our West Highland terrier. The island is otherwise uninhabited, access is boat-only and there is no mains electricity (we have a sixty-year-old diesel generator in the shed).

Strangford Lough is a very beautiful corner of Ireland and has provided much of the inspiration for Lynn's recent paintings - she is a professional artist and her work can be seen at www.lynnmcgregor.co.uk.

I write full-time and my book The Blue Cabin chronicles our first year of island life.
