The ark would need a base to be built on and friend said it could be where Ron Wyatt thought noah's ark was.

I think that when noah finished the boat and looked at it from a distance it would have looked like a long box,not a boat which lifts off the ground towards each end ! ! !

In size the ark was 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high. Conservatively (some think the ancient cubit was nearer 56 or 61 cm) as opossed that later cubit 44.5cm (17.5inch), The object on the mountain measures around 170m by 28m so that would make the cubit in noah's times 56 cm which works out right. The bible explains that it was a chest "like" shape not chest "shaped" which leads people to asume that the ark is a rectangle box.

My personal opinion is that at the time of the flood the mount of ararat was two sepperate mountains merged by lava flow.The bible's account states mountains which would work out right.And for a ship to withstand a lava flow it would have to be over engineered to carry every thing for the time it was afloat. The object has what looks like a bow and stern but I feel that that would be stronger than that of a rectangle with four sides.

And when to take into account that the mountain was last active roughly the 3rd millennium BC, Would suggest that it is ancient indeed and worth checking out. Did god know to design the ark like a boat to allow the lava to flow around it and not to push it down the mountain?And the glaciers would of pushed it down the mountain if it were not Locked into place by the lava!!

Why was it found now and not sooner? It was far easier to see this on google earth with the adjustiable camera which was not so apparent with a satelite photo!!

Amazing when you take this all into account!! DIVINE INTERVENTION ? ? ?
