We are the largest national community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. We encompass all ages and all spectrums from autism, Down syndrome, Fragile X and various other developmental disabilities.

The news media have not publicized the fact that the victim is mentally handicapped, but you can verify this with Fox News or the Fort Myers Police. In fact, his handicap is probably the reason he was targeted by bullies. Florida laws were violated but the bullies have not been charged. A federal law against distribution of child porn was violated. The police and state attorney appear to be on the side of the bullies. Is there anybody we can contact to defend the rights of the mentally handicapped?
Please contact the Florida Attorney General and the State Attorney for the 20th Judicial Circuit and demand prosecution.
