It has been over 35 years since I saw the concert that supported this album. The music, the sound and performance still hold up and exceed the standards of today. The man is genius; decades ahead of his time and it shows.

@hamofbuddha I agree that the beer is not very god but this magnificent tribute with the Clydesdales is heartwarming and poignant. Your comment does suck however. I thought you ought to know that your ignorance is showing.

I wonder what Vince Bruni would have done with them had he been their directer? He was way ahead of his time and is sadly missed.

This recording was made during wartime. Amazing how good it sounds considering the 'primitive' state of the art recording equipment that existed then.

I remember her on the Sullivan Show. She had just gotten off the airliner and straight to the show. Just a wonderful performance. It was a thrill to finally meet this lovely lady when she starred in Sunset Boulevard. Pure class.

Great interview. Moe always struck me as a really smart well read and well spoken man.
My original albums were stolen years ago so I haven't heard any of these songs in over 35 years. Captain Beyond was one of the best bands that nobody but a small handful of my friends ever heard or heard of. Thanks for the uploads; they are just so fucking refreshing to hear again.
