About the OPEN DOOR ORCHESTRA
The Open Door Orchestra (ODO) is a revolving ensemble of players from around the world that utilizes an array of instrumentation and contemporary influences to create timeless music. ODO artistically blends musical styles, taking the listener on an ambient, avant-garde, world beat journey.
Musical director Shannon Michael Terry founded ODO in 1999 in Los Angeles. "ODO was created as an ever-expanding music and sound experience. The music will always grow and change. The way I see it the OPEN DOOR ORCHESTRA Is an empty canvas of sound possibility, waiting to be filled by an always changing ensemble of musicians sound artists and poets, it is a production concept that will last a lifetime.
