Born in 1978, Amazon began singing songs like "Ebony and Ivory"at the early age of 3. She knew then she wanted to be an entertainer. At age 7 she performed her first talent show, was terrified and ran off stage. It wasn't until her junior year in high school that she hit the stage again, but this time there was success which was fuel to her fire. She then competed in several talent shows, and one night in great faith purchased a ticket to a Montell Jordan concert with hopes of getting on stage to sing. She did just that, and shocked the crowd. When the host asked the crowd did they want to hear more, they screamed YES, and she performed again. After being invited backstage, she was handed tons of cards from major and local labels. With lack of knowlege of the industry she didn't know what to do. She then decided to call herself Lady Luv as an artist name. She ended up signing a 4 year record deal with local label Fort Knox Ent.in conjunction with /Dankside Productions, Notorious Productions, and Hit Room Studios. The only thing gained from this was few friendships and experience in the studio recording on other artists songs. At the time of contract renewal Amazon (formerly Lady Luv) decided to forfeit and go her own way independently. Since the start of her professional career Amazon has recorded with artists from Denver, Atlanta, Minneapolis,and Houston. Amazon has featured on 10 artists albums and over 40 songs. Currently Amazon is trying to get her own works together so she can finally live her dream of her music being worldwide. There have been ups and downs but she has not given up. Now she is in college for Business Administration and is considering a bachellors in enterainment law. Her supportive friends and fans is what keeps her going and wanting to produce. Her children keep her wanting to increase knowledge, so they can follow in her footsteps. Amazon does music styles of r&b, hip hop, soul, and jazz. Keep your eyes open, because one day she will take the industry by storn.
