Atheist and pretty much all around skeptic.
I don't believe in god or gods, ghosts (or any life after death), alien abductions, UFOs (in the sense that they are space ships from another planet), unicorns, psychics, the magic spinning Martian teapot and a whole load of other things.
What I DO believe in is scientific theories where they are consistent with the evidence, humanism and that love and laughter can go a long way to helping you overcome the harsh realities of life.
Play nicely, folks, it's better for everyone that way.

Interests and Hobbies: At the moment am a bit of a Youtube addict. It will probably wane once the next decent XBox 360 or Wii game comes along that catches my fancy.
Films and Shows: Stargate Atlantis, Weeds, Six Feet Under, Ellen, Frasier, How to look good naked, Heroes
Music: Abba, Carpenters, Pet Shop Boys, Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Mike Oldfield, Madonna. (You'd never know, would you?)
Books: The Velveteen Rabbit. Charlotte's Web. Treasure Island. The Wasp Factory (pretty much most Iain Banks, actually). Crime/thriller fiction stuff as well (Michael Connelly, PJ Tracey, Karin Slaughter, Robert Crais) Currently reading: Peter Robinson - Friend of the devil, Joe Hill - Heart-shaped Box, Kathy Reichs - Bones to Ashes, Lee Child - Nothing to Lose.
