Everything comes from the book- "ONE MAN'S LIFE". A story of any man's life. No names, no geographic places. He's the only child, lives in a house that's on a river where the moon and stars guided by their own reflections, each night light their way out to the Endless Sea that carries them to the other side of the world. There they beautify the night sky for all the other peoples of the earth. Behind the house is the Dusty Road that lay between the fields of Gold And Green. One day his beloved mother and father, with the calling breeze at their backs, on a run, sail away up the river, never to return... And he is alone,....until One New Day he sees Her..., upon the The Hill-The Hill Where the Sun is Always Rising, The Star Always Shines, and The Tree Gives Cooling Shade Upon the Greenest of Spring Grasses...and they have their 1st kisses there...but she lives as if in some Bruce Springsteen song- she lives in the Darkness on the Edge of Town...across the Sad Valley, where her secret is dark and deep..., until, until her own courage fueled by the boy's Unconditional Love frees her soul... the thunder and lightning in the night of "The Healing", he sends out his song,("Lovely World") to her across the valley, from his upstairs bedroom window with the single candle... upon the Hill, some years later , as young men are prone to do, he tries to explain his heart to her(The writing, "If You Believed in Me." -corresponding song: "How Can I Tell You?") and it's then the 3-masted sailing ship 1st appears in the heavens that will carry their love throughout their lives. Later it's where he asks her to marry him, and the place where the 1st born comes to be buried, (The Beloved Brother in "American Lament.") And then, The 11th "stage" of life where they go off to eternity together, (The 3 masted sailing ship now coming from the other direction.) So, it's short and maybe bittersweet... 12 Rhymed writings from birth through death(and 2 pages beyond...), and so 12 pages of narrative. 24 Norman Rockwell/Walt Disney inspired illustrations. That's the book-48 pages. And the 12 corresponding songs, the songs that have to be related to that theme in the corresponding "Time of Life." writings. If the music is any good, well, it'll be on stage like at Branson, Mo. A "performing book tour", the book itself, the audio book, the DVD movie, the individual framed writings with the art, etc., etc., we'll see... Thanks.
