Let's all talk about this openly.

If we all work together to share segments of a single full length documentary, wouldn't that mean that no "copyright" owner would be allowed to push youtube to suspend the account?

I don't mind posting segments which can be saved to your computer and uploaded to your account. When you notify me that you've grabbed one of the segments and posted them on your channel I'll update my playlist and remove the segment from my channel and that way we'll have worked together to avoid having our accounts suspended. This doesn't need to be done in secret either as far as I'm concerned.

I don't think I have a will nor determination to go through all the trouble uploading 100's of videos just to be taken down without warning.

I finally found you, ridiculous that youtube is infested with retarded videos about absolutely anything but a user that uploads informative content gets suspended. keep up the good fight.
