Born and raised in Kitchener Ontario. Simon McNeish better known by his stage name Motive grew up listening to music his whole life. He fell in love with Hip-Hop the first time he listened to the song "My Name Is - Eminem". Eminem soon became his idol for a number of years. He decided at the age of 13 that he wanted to become a rapper. So in grade 9 he asked his parents for a USB Condenser Microphone in which he still records many of his tracks on today. In his first year of spitting he managed to gain allot of buzz in the streets of Kitchener under the name "Young FelonieZ".

Still pushing to accomplish his dreams of fame and fortune, Motive continues to write record and improve his musical talents as a young ambitious rapper.
