About this user

I've always liked music since I was a child. I like nearly all styles. I took a few piano lessons as a kid but my mother didn't have time to take me for serious lessons. In the 90's I put myself through 7 years of violin lessons that I greatly enjoyed. This is where I discovered I like playing in a group since I was in an ensemble. I had to quit for financial reasons and then when my violin broke I haven't played in years.

It wasn't until recently after watching my husband play his guitar so much that I really felt the urge to want to play again and to play with him. I wanted an instrument to compliment his so I bought myself an electric bass guitar that I really love. I'm teaching myself and pulling from the knowledge I gained from all those years of violin playing. And Chris used to be a guitar teacher so he's been helping me with the guitar technique even though the bass is a little different. So I'm still in the process of learning all the notes and positions.

I'm a metal head. I love true metal like power metal, melodic death, melodic black and symphonic. I'm also a fan of 80's techno and Andean music.

I would REALLY love to have a solid black B.C. Rich Beast guitar. Not the new ugly Son of Beasts they make. I want the original large Beast guitar. I wish they weren't discontinued. I'm looking to buy one.

Updates:
5/7/11 - I'll try to do other covers besides Amon Amarth though I love them. I think I'll concentrate on Powerwolf. There's another band I'm trying to learn but they are giving me a hard time. I hate it when I see videos that say "bass covers" and then they are playing the guitar part on bass. Yeah sometimes it's fancy but it's wrong and not the true bass part. I do my best to play the actual bass lines.
