When speaking on love and relationships, Tha-Da-Werk usually focus on the initial attraction of a man toward a woman. Never degrading a female, his words shows respect to women and how they should be appreciated. His poetic style of writing was first revealed in his book titled "Just My Thoughts" written under his government name.
As a motivator, Tha-Da-Werk takes on the role of a social and political activist, who speaks to inspire people to better themselves as an individual. The best way to do that is to be drug free, seek knowledge and try to live a good life. In a world corrupted by power-hungry politicians, Tha-Da-Werk demands people to stand up and fight for change, instead of being mindless puppets. Through metaphors, his words implies that fighting against a wrong is like fighting a war. In order to win against a greater power, you must fight as if you're invincible. At the same time, you must organize and recruit for your cause. Tha-Da-Werk is the voice of a million men marching.
Like any other lyricist, Tha-Da-Werk also have a few words for the playa haters out there. He doesn't consider himself a battle M.C., but all rappers kick lyrics about their skills. His battle rhymes doesn't get into the trash talking. Instead, he keeps it simple and states what his abilities are. Afterall, he didn't get into this game to battle other artists. He's here to deliver a message and to express his thoughts on life and what he sees in the world around him.
