Was it just me or did you see the mustang driver miss 3 rd... Like it said in the description. That would mean the speed won! I own a gen 2 and do agree that the transmission is shit, but I've never had any engine problems( knock on wood )

@125sxking I agree that the gen 1's look better... Having said that the gen 2 has a better ECU. Meaning same mods more hp for the gen 2!

Go with Corksports SRI w/ TIP combo. you get the best results for you money, at only $239 + shipping. All the CAI's cost about that much, but don't come with the Turbo Inlet Pipe ( which the TIP is about a 10 to 12 hp gain). Plus no chance of sucking up water with the SRI.

@ snwbrdrx16 stock mazdaspeed 3 is not 247 to the wheels. With the cai he's right around 247... With a bov or bpv he would prolly break 250 whp

The Mazdaspeed is FWD. In order to get the best reading the dyno spins the rear wheels to trick the car to think it is really driving. This is done so the ECU doesn't turn TCS on, which could limit the engines power to the wheels. Still a FWD car. But with a more acurate reading.

@ DIALL2DEF a CAI is not necessary on a turbo application, I went with corksports SRI and TIP which puts 34 hp to the wheels for the same price as just a CAI... but I do agree about the BPV. It's shit! Have an rs on order!

On eBay they sell a down pipe for $170, shipped. Or $280 for the dp an rp combo. That's what I plan on getting... Oh and get the corksport TIP and SRI combo!

Put that same amount of money into the ms3 and post that vid... We'll see the si a couple of car lengths back!

@sleeksilver a BOV does control the power the turbo creates by keeping pressure. An aftermarket BOV will make sure you get all the power the turbo makes.
