theREIGN were formed in 2002 as a backing band for David Cooper bid to record a second CD of his own worship songs. From there, they have gone from strength to strength and are now considered "Hull's Premier Worship Band".

In recent years, they have stretched their wings somewhat and appeared in many places beyond their home City, and were inspired to develop their ground-breaking rock communion event, "Communion On The Rocks" specifically for the Greenbelt Festival's worship programme. These events can now be found all over Yorkshire and beyond.
