Yes, Johnny Depp is pretty much my role model XD I guess I thought I was into the actors but apparently it was only their characters I cared about :S Captain Jack Sparrow was the one who got me interested in the series in the first place and I didn't care about Barbossa and Jones until much later, so I guess that shouldn't be too much of a surprise for me. They are all wonderful actors though and they did so much for the Pirates series, so I do think fondly of them. I'm just too pirate-obsessed to enjoy their other movies XD

I certainly agree. I watched Orlando Bloom in two or so of his other movies but ended up bored, while I fell in love with several of Johnny Depp's movies. I've only seen one other movie with Geoffrey Rush (Ned Kelly) and one with Bill Nighy, and unfortunately I didn't like those either, though not because of their acting. I think I may only like those two in Pirates of the Caribbean because they play pirates really well. However, I'm more inclined to like Johnny Depp movies because I'm madly in love with him. XD
