i've been busy in recent months, but will continue to rotate my 20+ playlists.

my channel is dedicated to my father and wars & conflicts he served in. gradually, it evolved to include conflicts of other eras. watching 10s of 1000s of yt videos helped me visualize the long line of armed servicemen through history -- & my family. videos my father and i watched together triggered stories I hadnt heard before and wouldn't have otherwise. I'm deeply grateful for that. being raised in military, I knew but was reminded how much of world knows war at any given time. how young troops & fighters always are, how what they experience is so much the same, no matter the uniform or weapons. "last Playlist" is about that., but don't know if young vets will get it. yet.

in "Favorites', find lighter, bored, wtf side of soldiering (even in warzone) & misciellaneous vids.

iraq & afghanistan playlists are mostly by those who were there. in vid comments i've come across angry young vets & recalled what back-from-war was like in my own family... touchy. in their own way, combat vets will always hate, miss & carry their war -- and those they shared it with.

a wise young vet once said, "i have more in common with the enemy than most civilians back home; we know what it was like."

that's who & what my playlists are going for.
