I agree with your insight on this issue of commercial bands.Mettalica was the great band of the eighties and nineties but it seems that after the black album there songs also became way too commercial especially enter sandman.It seems that the bands that went commercial did so based on how many times one specific tune became a hit and the rest of the album seemed to be ignored usally the best tunes were never played for this reason alone its the society who pik the tunes for radio and when we see commercialism the particular song is played over and over making the fans believe what they are being told but to put it nicely i strongly feel that when bands remain together for over 30 years then they deserve to be recognised for there endurance and love of music not money and chicks
