I'm off to Minneapolis-St. Paul for the Republican National Convention as a delegate for the State of Rhode Island. I am very much looking forward to the trip.
As this is my first time, I am not sure exactly what to expect. I know there will be speeches and rallies. There will also be opportunities to meet people and Republicans from around the country. Coming from Rhode Island it will certainly be a new experience being in the presence of so many Republicans.
While you will see plenty of media coverage of the event, I am going to do my best to capture the attendee experience. I hope you get a taste of what it is like to be on the ground at the convention.
