I have a 78 The Paul and the first "real" guitar I ever bought was a 71/72 SG with the controls on a front mounted plate and Bigsby tail piece. Great minds think alike.
I actually traded the SG for the The Paul in about 1979.

@lexo30 Unless your name is Jeff Beck, you couldn't touch this performance with a ten foot mic cable even if you sing like Pavarotti and were playing to cover up your failure as a singer. DG may play a "bit much" but it's instrumental and it's HIS album.
