Terror Film Festival is a bad-azz, alien probing, zombie feasting, international independent film festival that runs every October in the heart of Philadelphia PA. It is Halloween Cinematic! Our films and events all center around Horror, Fantasy, Sci-fi, Thriller, Dark Drama, Halloween, and celebrating life and art.
Terror Film Festival offers the latest and greatest works from the next wave of up and coming great filmmakers for the sheer enjoyment of our audiences. We believe it is all about having great times pursuing great dreams, and our festival has been labeled one of the most theatrical events in the entertainment industry with "incredible showmanship".
Terror Film Festival nurtures and supports new genre filmmakers and screenwriters who are the next Alfred Hitchcock, M. Night Shyamalan, Orson Welles, Rob Zombie, George A. Romero, Hammer Films, Steven Spielberg, Bram Stoker, etc. We offer prizes, online interviews of our filmmakers, all kinds of free promotion on our website (check out THE CAVERNS), a world-class screenwriting competition, and the coveted Claw Awards (tagged as, The Oscars of Horror).
Each year, filmmakers, screenwriters, producers, actors, directors and fans from all around the world attend the festival. It is a very cool and informal environment where the fan meets the artist, and vice-versa. The energy level of being with so many creative artists in one place is mind blowing and you will see that it is a life changing experience that will fill your heart with warmth for many years to come. Plus, our Claw Awards ceremony on Saturday night is one of the most anticipated live award shows on the east coast. And it is all presented by the lovely Princess Horror.
