About this user

I'm Stew Clark, a trained chemist and biologist who has made controlling ants, moles, nuisance wild life and other pesky critters my business. For nearly 30 years, I've been developing consumer products to control common household pests.

I'm also an accomplished inventor and entrepreneur. I'm currently head of Research and Development at Senoret Chemical Company, makers of TERRO, the country's leading manufacturer of household ant control products and Sweeney's brand of mole, gopher, deer, and small animal control products.

I travel frequently around the country to meet with leading entomologists and vertebrate biologists to evaluate the latest research into pest ants and leading edge nuisance wildlife control. It's this kind of research that helps me develop and expand both the TERRO and Sweeney's brands to give homeowners a wide assortment of easy-to-use and effective products.

Somewhere along the way, I decided to start a blog to share some of the crazy amount of information I've learned over the years with people who have annoying pests around their homes. And let's face it -- who doesn't? If you're wondering why my blog is called "What's Buggin' Stew," it's pretty simple. I'm a normal guy, who spends an abnormal amount of time around bugs, and quite frankly, a lot of time they, well, bug me.
