About this user

I am 21 y/o and have been drumming for since i was 3 years old. I started out as a marching percussionist, then decided to tackle drum set. I play for two bands right now, Moose and the High Tops (60's-80's cover band), Tides of Time (western mass progressive metal band) old band Kick! Kick! (indie rock) http://www.youtube.com/user/kickkicktheband ) and one prog rock/metal band.

My drum set and Equipment:

I use a 8 piece Pearl Vision VX series Drum set (olive green/black hardware).
toms: 8", 10", 12", 13"
floor toms: 14", 16"
bass drum: 22"
snares: 14" x 5.5" aluminum Pearl Vision, 14 x 5.5" Birch Pearl Vision

Bass pedals: Iron Cobra Power Glide double bass drum pedals with the cobra coil.
High Hat Stand: Tama HH905 Iron Cobra Lever-Glide Hi-Hat Cymbal Stand

Pearl ICON DR-503C Drum Rack with a mix of the PCX-100 Pipe Clamps and the PCX-200 Pipe Clamps.
Tom hardware-Pearl Optimounts (2)

All other hardware is Peal. 800-2000 series stands and a Pearl D-1000N Throne. (for my electric kit i use Pearl D- 700 throne)

Cymbals: Sabian-Left to right- HHX stage crash 16", stacked on top is a 9.5" custon Zildjian A custom AUX cymbal (used to be a 16" A custom, AAXplosion crash 17", Vault Mike Portnoy Signature Max Stax 10", HHX stage crash 17", AAX Metal Ride 20", HHXplosion crash 16", Holy China 19"
AAX fusion Hi Hats 13"

Heads: Batter: Remo Vintage Emperor
Resonant: Remo Clear Ambassador
(this combo is used by Gavin Harrison from the band Porcupine Tree)

Bass Drum: Aquarian Super Kick II

For the snare I have a coated Emperor X with the reversed black dot
