It all began at a high school Talent show in Spring of 2008. James Murtagh(sugar), Tom Jennings(spice), Gavin Reidy(and everything nice) and B Jost(chemical X) formed the Ill-Literates and performed the most insane show known to man. When the four got back together to practice, they decided to add a couple more friends in order to become more awesome. Megan Johnson, and Brian Cushin were added to the lineup. This added more songwriting ablities, singing ablities, and ablities to be Brian Cushin. Thus was born Down Is Up. However, a couple of more gut exploding pants ruining spontaneous combustion causing shows and practices later, the band realized that the name Down Is Up was unpopular with the fans. Through some voting and deciding, the Band finally decided to go with the name that has been accepted by all of the fans and members: Temporary Heroes. The band continues to make awesome music, perform glorious shows, flip bags, and make fun of Tom when he plays at inconvenient times at practice. We hope to show up at your house and eat all the left over pizza soon. Amen.
