Briggs can at least take comfort in the fact that he is one of the few guys to go the distance with Vitali. Although, after the 6th Rd he was nothing more than a punching bag. Robert Helenius is the only guy I know of that would have a chance against Vitali.

I'm really clueless when it comes to lyrics and their meaning. All these years and I had no idea this song is about anal sex. I don't listen to it any differently though. Hell, I didn't find out until recently that Red Barchetta is about an Italian sports car! LOL

Did Black Lab ever make an official video for this? I can't find it on YouTube. Nevertheless. this is the greatest "one hit wonder" ever, in my opinion. And I hate to call them a one hit wonder because they are a great band. But this song never gets old.

Used to hear this on 91X in San Diego but I forgot the name of the song and the band. Just now heard it on Firstwave/Serius satellite. Finally remember the band and what an absolute classic this song is.

A friend gave this movie to me because he thought I was drinking too much. It sobered me up, for sure. Nick Cage did a masterful job but I still think he looked too good for a guy that drank that much.

I heard this track on Liquid Metal and freaked b/c I thought Ronnie did the vocals for the whole album. I was disappointed it was only one track but still very grateful.

I'll admit I'm late at catching on to this band but as they say, "better late than never". The more I hear from them the more I regret they canceled their North American tour. I was really looking forward to seeing them in Scottsdale but hopefully they will re-schedule. Killer video, by the way!

No blood, violence or gore.....yet one of the creepiest horror films ever. Couldn't sit though the US remake though because I knew they changed the ending.

Really hope these guys can bring their brutality to the US again. They haven't been here since 2001 and I missed that chance to see them. BTW, if and when they do play a show in my town I'll bring every one of my Knut vinyl albums for them to sign. (please, of course!)

Valet Girls and Crystal Heart are the definitive 80s movies. I looked up the English actress in this film, April Stewart, but this is her only credit. Does anybody know what happened to her? (I think we all know what happened to Tawny Kitaen from Crytal Heart).

I had Tua with the slight edge in this fight. I could also understand if they declared it a draw. Ike may have gotten the win but he was never the same after this fight. He had all kinds of psychological issues because of the constant pounding by David Tua. One of the all time great fights.

@Savukala I've noticed that too. He has really good power behind those punches. Lamon Brewster thought he hit too hard to not have "loaded" gloves. I do think he needs to work more on his lateral movement though.

The more I study Vitali's style the more respect I gain for him. So many people don't realize how crafty he really is. His fights are not boring to me at all; he's just so good he makes it look easy. It's masterful the way he times his punches and uses his height and reach to completely dominate ...

This was a great show. They'll be back in Tempe on March 15th at Club Red and I hope the turnout is just as good for that show as it was for this one. I don't think the March show is the start of the Metalliance tour though. Too bad, I'd love to see St. Vitus, Crowbar and Helmet on the same night.

This "fight" was difficult to watch at times. I just hope Briggs made a really good payday and isn't permanently damaged. Vitali is so crafty and well conditioned he could dominate well into his 40s.

I definitely think a guy like Vitali Klitschko would do really well in K-1. He began his career as a kickboxer but the paydays in K-1 would never equal what he makes in boxing. It would be interesting though to see if he would use kicks in K-1 when he has been boxing for so long.
