What makes this movies so special is the wonderfully balanced and well thought out choices. From Puccini'sNessun Dorma to Wagner's Liebestod to Verdi's La Virgine Degli Angeli - they all pack a punch. The movie itself serves as a wonderful introduction to Opera.

Wonderful film - made more so by the wonderful well thought out pieces that were chosen. This under-appreciated film remains a favorite of mine.
