okay so as for advice, i'd say practice your spanish and dont be put off when/if you can't understand them right away. They drop all their S's. Adios means hello and goodbye, ahora doesn't mean right now, it means around now. and most importantly look at the bigger picture while enjoying the smaller things. even if you get homesick remember its only 8 weeks out of your entire life, and how long it might be until you'll be able to spend an hour eating mangos from a nicaraguan tree again. Try really hard to improve your spanish and to enjoy every second there.
