About TEKU TEKU ( Japanese for the sound of footsteps)
GOAL:
-start the discussion about the environment
-create awareness around environmental issues
-inform people about what they can do to make a positive change for the future.
APPROACH:
Through original activities that are fun to take part in and short movies,
that are easy to watch, we hope to get people interested and
active in doing something positive for the environment.
OUR HISTORY:
Nov.2005 I started the project with writing an article in a
local magazine. In the article the idea for a car-free Daimyo was presented
At the end of 2007 I realized that the project was too difficult for me and at this point of time and I didnt feel I was making much progress.
In 2008 I decided to change my approach and make monthly movies with an
ECO theme. Beside that we organized events; Beach cleanings, No Junkmail
sticker competition, Critical Mass Movie showings, join music events etc
