My birthdate is 1983-07-31.
I didn't trust youtube with accurate info when I registered, so they think I'm 38. Apparently you can't change that. I could hide my age, but that's a cover up. Their system is flawed and they should fix it.
There are lots of reasons to change your age. What if your account becomes real popular and you want to give it to someone else to manage while you move on to bigger and better things? What if you become self-conscious and want people to think that you are younger? What if you had amnesia when you created your account, and then remembered your birthday?
Honestly the kind of people that would lie about their age to fellow youtubers (as opposed to youtube itself) probably don't care much about the permanence of the account. Therefor, youtube is only hurting their loyal users and their community by propagating this design flaw.
Okay I'm done ranting on that for now. If they ever fix it, someone please message me so I can remove this disclaimer.
Oh and since this is the "About Me" section, I like stuff. Things are cool too, but mostly I like stuff.
