Why and how to BOYCOTT YouTube?
Every Sunday is a worldwide PROTEST DAY against the NEW DESIGN of YouTube. Just "BLACK OUT" your channel for 24 hours, and close your "modules" (uploads, favorites, playlists). Keep your channel still available, but make all your most viewed videos temporarily private (if you have own uploaded videos). This way we can turn down the ratings of YouTube. Your channel does not need to be all black. Learn more from my playlist videos "Boycott YouTube", and join the battle, please! United we are strong!
You think it's useless to protest? Well, after all we can say: "At least we tried!" This is one thing I have learnt in my life: "Don't give in without a fight!"
Remember: if the new design will be the only choice, you will be practically "invisible"! In the new system, there is no such a concept anymore as "Friends", you can not even show your subscribers on your channel, etc. You will lose your personal layout and most of your modules (boxes). At the same time, you will irrevocably lose all your older channel comments as well.
One more time, I beg you: join the battle, if you don't want to lose your channel and identity! Say "NO" to YouTube, before it's too late. Whatever you do, please do NOT use the new design!

"WE DON'T WANT THE NEW DESIGN! Please, don't force us to use it! New design looks awful, ugly, and plain boring. Just gray and cold, very uncomfortable to use. The old layout is so much more easy, more clear, and more versatile. New style channels are not as beautiful nor practical. New design is a long step back, just an innovation for innovation's sake! Please, let people choose!"

On these days MANY PEOPLE ARE LEAVING YOUTUBE AND MOVING TO ZIPPCAST. I also created an account there, called "TeisukasNewPlace" (see the link on my sidebar left side). Zippcast.com seems a quite nice place, but it's still very simple and unpretentious, like YouTube long time ago... And there is one big problem: people has continuous troubles with uploading. Most of uploads does not get through yet. I think Zippcast has just too little server capacity. Too much people and too little resources at the moment? I hope they will get more power soon. Anyway, my video "The Moon Represents My Heart" was THE FIRST TERESA UPLOAD TO ZIPPCAST EVER, uploaded on the first day of the Dragon year (Jan 23, 2012)! This video was blocked worldwide in YouTube. Please, go and check it out, if you like Teresa Teng. Video is located in the Moon! ^_^
