Runescape epicness

Details on how this was made:

The song uses the chord scructure from Pachabels Canon, everything else is written by me minus the Stan references/paody towards the end. Most of the sounds are made with my own voice.

Drums: All these sounds were made using my own voice. All have had EQ enhancements and some have had other effects applied including moderate distortion.

Backing vocals: I sung the 8 notes of a major scale. Each note was recorded on its own and the chord structures/backing melodies were all made during editing. All notes had EQ enhancements.

Rap: Unedited and recorded live. I toyed with the idea of using various accents but in the end, my natural one seemed to work best/was the one I was most comfortable with. No effects were added.

Chorus vocals: These vocals are doubled. What this means is that you take 2 seperate recordings of the same thing and play them together (Dave Ghrol is a big fan of this kind of thing so that makes it ok ;)). Doubling a track beefs it up a lot and can take away the need for reverb and other effects. No other editing was added to the chorus apart from the doubling.

*Meaning of This Song*
This song can be seen as a turning point in a country's fight for freedom. The man in white robes represents a Tyrant Emperor who uses his power to supress his people. "On his face is the map of world" alludes to the fact that this tyrant has vast control and influence on the world. This emperor also doesnt heed the word of his people like a democracy would, which can be seen in the line "He doesn't read the message here".

The person dressed in Rouge Armor can be viewed as a common person who has limited freedoms under the rule of the emperor. This person decides to rise up and take a stand against the corrupt emperor.

Towards the end is the climax of the song when the the Common man confronts the Emperor. The phrase "From Yesterday" is repeated many times which I Believe represents the freedom that the people once had, and that "It's Coming" again.

The death of the Emperor at the end of the Video represents the people's sucess in overthrowing the Tyrrant.

The reason why this took so long was due to the fact;
1. School started late during October - December. I couldn't get much done then
2. It was a hard song. Really repetitive, I was about half into the video, so minus well finish rather then leaving tons of hours wasted.
