I do have to say though that I personally wouldn't have let this get to this situation. I also wouldn't have put this punishment on the internet, especially seeing as how these kinds of things can last forever online and hurt the relationship, family, or child turned adult, long after they have grown up and when rebellious activities like this would normally be looked back on as something childish and embarrassing.

Despite the attention and accolades, I don't think that Facebook has been a very positive thing, especially in regards to children.

Well, I think I came at it differently seeing as how we really don't know everything involved to begin with. The idea that the .45 approach is his only approach or solution assumes too many things that are unknown. Given what he said in the video specifically, I think his approach here was not unreasonable. I agree with the position of trying to figure out the main cause of the issues, but mere teenage rebellion could be one of them. Using the .45 to destroy part of a rebellion problem that is the most visible to them may seem a bit immature for a Father, but he is correcting the problem by removing something that may have added to it. I haven't seen anything that would lead me to believe that the father uses a .45 to solve all of his issues, or that .45 ownership or usage alone would corrupt or influence a child enough for them to resort to a "final solution" themselves.

Fine, I respect your reply. But why not find out what's eating at his daughter instead of shooting up the electronics and wasting bullets? What I said was that instead of wasting money on violent gestures the relationship with his daughter might be healed by getting at the cause, instead of killing the symptom! She has a step mom; problem #1. She's got a dad who deals with problems using a .45: problem #2. See what I'm getting at? It's not anyone's fault, and the daughter is immature. My opinion, so is dad. The fruit falls close to the tree in many cases. There are no delusions. One makes reality as one goes along. My friend was a Major in the Marines. His son learned to handle prolems just like his dad and used his father's .45 to blow his own brains out while the parents were at a party.

Nasser was a dictator who desired and fought for the genocide of the Jewish people and complete destruction of the Jewish State. He pushed for war and national genocidal aspirations, which served absolutely nothing but his own Pan-Arabic and nationalistic ego and ambitions. What exactly was "clean" about his authoritarian one-party system or crushing of dissent? His "reforms" ultimately served his own interests, not the interests of the people.

You call me "a heartless piece of shit" while spouting anti-semitic propaganda in response to a simple quotation of Nasser. Then you denigrate me on racial grounds for daring me to be an "anglo-saxon fuck."? What exactly is warmhearted about anti-semitism or anti-anglo-saxonism? Why be an obvious bigot and hypocrite when you can be a subtle one?

Oh BTW, just to reiterate these facts, Nasser was a genocidal dictator. That makes him scum. Go cry over your beloved mirror image in a corner or something.

My response: "@Mayer200 Where was it proven that the arabs shown had been tortured? How in any way does mere posing for pictures with blindfolded prisoners compare to typical fascist/Nazi activities? Your illogical relativist comparison is unfounded and asinine. The 1967 Six-Day War was an Israeli preemptive strike of a defensive nature against Egyptian and Syrian troops that were massing on Israel's borders.

"Our basic objective will be the destruction of Israel. The Arab people want to fight." - Nasser"

So what enraged you about that, other than that I dared to actually quote Nasser himself?

@Mayer200

Wow. Really not sure why you chose to respond here instead of the comments of the video where I commented. What was the point of coming here? I actually had to go through a week of my browser history to figure out what video you were commenting in...

Your comment: "What a fucking Israeli fascist Bitch posing happily in front of tortured and humiliated palestinean political prisoners. As a person of Jewish background I'm absolutely disgusted by this fascist Judeo-Nazi behaviour. Death to Zionism! Long live Jewish and Arab brotherhood in Israel and the establishment of an independant palestinean state in the arab lands occupied in the 1967 Israeli aggression."

Your a heartless piece of shit. Gamal Abd al Nassar was one of the most respectable and clean arab leaders as he wasn't a Zionist fascist puppet or supporter like you are you anglo-saxon fuck.

@Peac3nL0ve

You can't find the post and what I was specifically commenting to, ie the context of my comments, but you respond anyway? Exactly what am I left with to respond to? I specifically stated in the comments SEVERAL times that I thought he was wrong, and I gave my reasons. The physical act of the spanking in the video was not wrong, his uncontrolled emotions, foul language, and demeanor were WRONG. I specifically stated, multiple times, that I thought what he did was wrong because he spanked her in anger and didn't control his emotions.

If you are going to call me ignorant, try actually reading what I specifically said and responding to that specifically instead of coming to my page to try to comment on something you couldn't even find, much less the context in which it was made. THAT is clear ignorance, not my comments, which you might disagree with, but ones that I made repeated clear arguments for...

I can't find your comment on the video, but what that judge did is NOT a spanking he hits her legs and back repeatedly and once on her arm. and you can hear him say that he's going to keep hitting her legs. this isn't discipline this is an angry guy taking it out on his daughter after his wife spanks him you hear him come back and say "i didn't get my licks in" NOT discipline he's a pig. and this is all i'll say in the matter because an ignorant person like you is not worth the argument

@auaiao9 "WOW, your comments have landed in the hate box right where they belong. I don't care how many book you've read, you sir are quite the fool. Better be careful who you spout of too."

Might help if you actually mentioned what you are responding to, I have no clue from what you said here. Also, should be "spout off to"...
