Sonys Australian CEO Denis Handlin said the nations first-ever Australian Idol winner deserved all the success thats come his way. I just want to say one more thing about what a special human being this young man is. Its more than just selling music and he certainly knows how to do that. Every time Ive asked Guy to get involved with the Sony Foundation through charity hes been completely proactive Guys been such a great ambassador for that, and a lot of it is under the radar but it just tells you so much about what a decent human being he is, Handlin told the packed room.

I have to say, no-one deserves success more than this young man. Im so proud.
