Songs for voice and piano.

Every song is different - different subject, different musical language. The texts are about very personal experiences and feelings that are at the same time familiar to all of us. Musically, the songs - though each has a different style - all take place in the borderlands between pop, musical and classical.

The texts are in English, and (almost) every song includes a piano solo somewhere along the way!

Ted Ganger was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and studied piano and conducting in New York before coming to Germany, where he worked as a conductor and coach in the opera houses of Frankfurt, Mannheim, and Darmstadt, among others. As a piano soloist, chamber musician and Lied partner, he has performed in the United States, Europe, South America, Australia, Southeast Asia and East Africa.

Since 1998, Theodore Ganger has been a voice coach on the faculty of the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich; he also plays keyboard instruments with the Munich Philharmonic.

He wrote his first song in 2009; a year later, he wrote a second one. He is currently working on his 28th song.
