The problem with what many peopple envision bushcraft is very high impact. If you had 50 people going out into the woods making shelpters etc... it eould not leave much wilderness. There is a reason for haveing equipment.

People need to be mindful of what they do.

The biggest issue is with out the chlorine the filter is ineffective against bacteria etc.... Granted the Brita filter will remove the chlorine but The chlorine typically requires a 20 minute contact time which this filter will not give. So this is a good placebo at best.
