Gouldman and Stewart gave 10cc the rocky edge that made them great and I tend to prefer the songs they had the most input to. Godley and Creme as a duo were fairly woeful IMO but I do agree a bit that 10cc without them was lacking.

I think really that the band was only 10cc with all four members...

This song is sort of bitter-sweet for me. Always reminds me of the old Durham Ice Rink as they used to play it after games.

Trouble is that the ice rink is now a bowling alley and will probably become a car-park fairly soon as it is on the verge of falling down...

Please, please, please stop murdering this wonderful song! The tempo is far too slow, all the witty bits are missed out and it does absolutely no favours to one of the best songs F&S ever did... Oh, and get the words right!

Is it just me, or does he sound a bit like a dirty old perve when the girls sing 'you're lovely' and he replies 'you are too'?

Great song though and a great bloke - in his place surrounded by young lovelies I'd probably be thinking the same!
