In the beginning there was the spark of an idea.
An idea born of alcohol and idle pub chat.
A ludicrous idea, and to be fair not really an original one either.
(see Topgear)
but an idea non the less.
And it came to pass that the four (now three) greatest minds of a generation would come together to buy an old knacker of a bog standard, everyday, run of the mill car (3.0 V6 Renault Laguna, or the LA Gunna as it's been nicknamed)and drive it from the North East of England to Germany.
And there it was decreed that the Nurburgring would be driven and Oktoberfest would be visited.
The journals of these four (now three) wise and mighty demigods will be presented here, as events unfold, and will stand forever as a testament to how a heady mix of alcohol, idle chatter, boredom and four (again just three now) blokes with nothing better to do can , and will end in {Delete as applicable} Triumph / Disaster.
Only the names and exact details of certain... er ... incidents will be changed to protect the innocent
(and to avoid any sort of prosecution for those which are not. But who are really!!)
