Menelaus does not die and this is an inaccurate portrayal in fight 1. Menelaus does shoe Paris to be quite a "woman" and the Hector vs. Achilles scenes is awesome -- most notably when he drags the corpse around for days and days and days -- until Zeus steps in and says, "enough already" !!
