Don Zimmerman is a candidate for Travis County [anti]Tax Assessor-Collector. He will:
- Reorganize the office to serve the taxpayer's best interest
- Open 24 hour taxpayer support hotline and on-line tools to assist taxpayers in protesting high property tax appraisals
- Properly synchronize State and County voter registration databases, register all legal voters (and not illegal ones)
- Modernize Computer Systems for our expanding Travis county, placing more taxpayer resources and tools on-line
- Cut budget of Assessor-Collector office while improving taxpayer service
