immortal song when i listen this song with closed eyes i feel as if a lover singing it for his mashooq on a floating shikara over peaceful dal lake of kashmir .salute to allthe three i.e music directo,poet and singer.

melodious ghazal sung by munni begam.good presentation,but ghazal is very "satahi"it appears that zindagi is pronounced as "jindagi".it must be recoding error because such type of thing can not be expected from a singer like munni begam.

shamim ara is difinitely very good actress.in this single song she has shown no of emotions i,e happyness,sorrow,helplessness and of compromise.indeed, she must be among top actreeses of pakistan.

is any body there to tell me name of the legendry Shair of this ghazal?

@dabbapeer it would have been copied by now but due to such a high class singing nobody could do it upto this now i am enjoying this song for the last three decade.

this is a shahakar by s b john and fayyaz hashmi such a romantic ghazal is difficult to reinvent.
