We're bringing you recipes so new they still have their stickers on. These foods are the love children of some of your favorite things to eat and drink. This week, our Food Mashup is the Grilled Cheese Sandwich Cake! That's right. We took an all-time favorite lunch item - the grilled cheese - and remixed it with an all-time favorite party food - cake. This new lunch party version takes all the best of both worlds and sliced it up for a delicious wedge of comforting goodness.

We took what the French would call a croque madame and scaled it up to highrise proportions. We gave this egg-topped, cheese-smothered masterpiece a shot and took it to the streets to see what the reaction would be. With our handy dandy Chef-O-Vision, you can see each step exactly as you'd be making it. Come back next Wednesday for the next Food Mashups recipe!
