Ross Cohen was born in New York and grew up in Malvern Pennsylvania. He learned the foundations of music and songwriting from his father and the essence of reading and poetry from his mother. Ross has written a handful of songs he feels proud to play in public and is the author of a collection of poems, some of which have been published in The Eckerd Review and the UniCambridge Radio website. He lists Robert Johnson, Leonard Cohen, Van Morrison, and T.S. Eliot as his influences.
