Tankless, Inc. was established in 1982 by Inventor Bob De Bonta, a master plumber and entrepreneur. Bob started out making vacu breakers and was determined to build an efficient system for heating water that would be take up less room and deliver an endless supply of hot water for homes. Bob spent years on improving upon the first design, striving to make the best tankless hot water heater around.
That dream became a reality and although Bob passed away in 2007, his legacy continues with a constant testing and improving process that continues to be the backbone of the product manufacturing line.
Bob set out to build a system for heating water for homes that would be efficient, take up less room, and, most of all, deliver an endless supply of hot water. He also developed a pool heater.
There were some stumbling blocks along the way and some people said, Bob give up, it can not be done. But with his determination, devotion, and a deep belief in God, he continued forward, proving it could in fact be Done.
